For those of you who have not heard, the LOP Golf Community lost a dear friend to many on October 17. Carolyn was a cherished part of the Women’s Golf Club. Her warmth, kindness, and love of life touched so many, and her absence will be deeply felt on the course and beyond.
Her family mentions that she also loved nature, hiking, fishing, line dancing and especially her family and friends. She was a bright light to all those around her-compassionate, warm, kind, supportive, calm, sweet and determined to enjoy life.
If you would like to pay tribute to Carolyn, the family has suggested donating to the Placer Land Trust. Placer Land Trust has worked with willing landowners and conservation partners to permanently protect and care for natural and agricultural lands in Placer County for current and future generations. Carolyn was actively involved in preserving land for public access and wanted to make sure everyone else could enjoy the wonders of nature.
