BECOMING A LADY NINER
Because we are a Mentoring Club, all potential new members will be assigned a Mentor. The role of the Mentor is to familiarize the new member with all things related to being a Lady Niner and help them with Tuesday Sweeps games. They will also help familiarize the new member with our golf course! Unfortunately, new members will not be taught “how to golf” and are highly encouraged to contact our Pro Shop or to ask your Mentor for suggestions on teaching pros in the area. New members must already have a basic knowledge of the game, know club choices, and keep up with the pace of play.
To join the Lady Niners, you must submit the following, and include this in one package to the LOP Lady Niners box in the LOP Pro Shop:
> Lady Niner Application Form and the LOP Waiver Form. The most current forms are found under Helpful Links.
> Lady Niner Dues for the current year.
> WNHGA Dues for the current year.
> GHIN fees.
If you do not have a Golf Handicap Index Number (GHIN) a temporary index will be assigned to the applicant for Tuesday sweeps until such time as a formal handicap has been established with the Northern California Golf Association. Your Mentor will detail more explicit requirements for submitting scorecards to establish your handicap.
